About Diriyah, the mud-brick city on the wadi

Diriyah lies on the north-western edge of Riyadh, where the city meets Wadi Hanifah. On one bank, At-Turaif, the 18th-century mud-brick capital and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, has been restored and opens in the evenings; on the other, Bujairi Terrace gathers restaurants facing its walls. Along the valley, palm gardens and paths follow the restored wadi, JAX District has turned old warehouses into studios and galleries, and Bab Samhan has opened as the first hotel.
